On June 3, 1925, General Motors celebrated the 100,000th car built in Janesville.

The Chevrolet plant was located on the south side of Janesville on Industrial Avenue, south of West Delavan Drive. The first Chevy was produced in 1923 and the first addition to the plant was in 1924.
