Crafting Excellence Exhibit Item

Pauline Pottery & Pickard China

The beautiful and extensive collection of Pauline Pottery and Pickard China, long recognized nationally for both for its functional use and as highly sought-after artwork.

Parker Pens & Memorabilia

Rotating display of Parker pens made throughout the years in Janesville, along with historic advertising and memorabilia.

The Heartbeat of Janesville's GM

Exhibit focuses on the history of the Janesville Assembly Plant and its workers.  See artifacts, stories, and mementos collected from the community and the plant, including what people wore, signs they saw, milestone photos, and even blueprints. The exhibit is home to the celebrated 100-millionth vehicle, a 1967 Chevrolet Caprice Custom Coupe.

The Rock County Historical Society enriches and engages the communities in Rock County, Wisconsin through preservation and dissemination of the unique history and heritage of our area.

 

Gathering here today in the Rock River Valley, the Rock County Historical Society (RCHS) acknowledges the Indigenous People whose ancestors thrived for thousands of years in this region. RCHS welcomes all the First Nations as the nations pass along their native language and traditions to younger generations.
