Crafting Excellence
Pickard China & Pauline Pottery
Pauline Pottery and Pickard China have long been recognized nationally as some of the finest pottery and china, both for its functional use and as highly sought after artwork.
The Rock County Historical Society’s exhibit, Crafting Excellence, is more than a gallery of works from these two mediums. It tells a story of craftsmanship; its processes, makers and shops that created each masterpiece. Selected artists and their distinct style will be showcased, telling the story of their unique contribution to each medium’s success and growth.
Interact with our “Make Your Own” kiosk that allows visitors to create their own Pickard China piece digitally. You can also try your hand at drawing on plates with our washable markers!
