Today my mom had to go take a COVID-19 test before her surgery on Wednesday. They have to make sure that anyone coming into the hospital for any procedure doesn’t have the virus because setting the virus loose in an operating room would be very dangerous for the whole hospital.

She said it was weird. She had to drive into a tent where people in hazmat suits had her open her window and stuck a long Q-tip up her nose. I hope I don’t have to do that. She said it hurt because they had to put it way back there.

I think it’s crazy she couldn’t even get out of her car and go into a doctor’s office. These are scary times. There are so many restrictions and people are dying and everyone is acting crazy.

The Class of 2020 is missing out on so many experiences that we will never get back.
