Plan to be a part of the 64th Annual Tallman Arts Festival, now expanded to two full days! All arts, fine crafts, sustainable arts and more are welcome. The Tallman Arts Festival raises funds to support RCHS programing and the historic buildings on our campus. Apply early for the best rates.

Terms of Service & Important Information


Held on grounds of the Lincoln-Tallman House, 440 N. Jackson St. in Janesville, WI.


Select your category on the entrance form. ALL WORK ON DISPLAY MUST BE ORIGINAL WORK CREATED BY THE ARTIST. Work produced from commercial molds, kits, and patterns, hobby, mass-produced or imported items will not be accepted.


To enter, register online (or, mail this PDF entry form, one image of your work, and a check made payable to RCHS) for a 10’ x 10’ booth area. . Entry fee is non-refundable upon acceptance. NO sales commissions are charged for artists. Note: Artists who exhibited at the 2021 Tallman Arts Festival are not required to submit an image of their work.


Submission of entry indicates acceptance of conditions here set forth: If work exhibited on the day of the festival is not of the same nature as the photo submitted, the artist will be asked to leave before the gates open. No refunds of artist’s fees will be issued.


Each exhibitor is responsible for the collection and payment of 5.5% Wisconsin State and County Sales Tax. Seller’s permit tax numbers will be reported to the state as required by law.


RCHS will exercise all reasonable precautions, however, exhibitors shall indemnify and hold harmless the Rock County Historical Society, its Board of Trustees, staff and volunteer, sponsors, and the City of Janesville against any and all loss or damage to works of art and/or property.


Grounds open at 6:00 a.m. Complimentary water and coffee will be available to artists from 8 to 10:00 a.m. Restrooms are on the grounds. Drinking water will be delivered to booths throughout the event. The campus is open to the public from 10:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. Saturday and 10:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. Sunday. Load-out may not begin until after closing time each day, for the safety of guests.


Acceptance to the Tallman Arts Festival is considered a commitment to exhibit. Your fee will not be refunded in the event that you cancel.


By signing our registration form, you are allowing RCHS and its photographers the rights to use images of your art and person in our marketing of current and future events or purposes.
