Where Past Meets Present

Introduction

Tallman Carriage House

Originally a structure stabling the Tallman family horses, the carriage house has served many purposes over its life, including administrative offices and gift shop for the Rock County Historical Society.

With a new Strategic Plan, the Society has positioned the carriage house to host a new center that uses themes of innovation and commerce to foster business strategy and success in Rock County.

The Tallman Carriage House is a one-of-a-kind venue in Wisconsin and the Midwest that celebrates and uses a community’s business history, leadership and innovation as a tool for business and community improvement.

By providing a historic venue that promotes and educates the values of leadership, innovation and entrepreneurship, the Tallman Carriage House is a tool for showcasing the rich business history of the county at the same time as it serves as a venue for meetings and events.
