A Christmas Carol

See Charles Dickens Perform A Christmas Carol in the Tallman Carriage House on December 22!

Date: Wednesday, Dec. 22

Don’t miss this “one man production” starring Nate Plummer as Charles Dickens, based on the American Reading Tour that Dickens performed in the late 1800s in which he portrayed all of the beloved characters from his holiday classic.

Dickens – always a theatrical showman – traveled with his own scenery and lighting equipment throughout his tour. This production, presented more than 150 years later, explores how Dickens might perform the show using the theatre technology of today: LED lighting, projections, sound effects, and more.

Presented by Stage Door Unlocked Productions, this show features strobe lights, fog, and loud noises and is recommended for audiences aged 8 & up. Show is 2 ½ hours long including a 15-minute intermission.

Choose from a family matinee or an evening for the grown-ups with hors d’ouvres, beverages and the show, both on Wednesday, December 22.

2 p.m. matinee with popcorn and hot cider. Pay as you can at the door. $10 suggested donation.
5:30 p.m. hors d’ouvres and cash bar followed by a 7:00 p.m. show. Tickets are $40 per person or $70 for two. Click here to buy yours today! Space is limited.
