The narrative of Rock County history is rich and unique, like its people and places. By including the Rock County Historical Society in your will, you help guarantee that the Society shares its community’s history with thousands of visitors each year. Donors who indicate that they have named the Society in their estate plans will be recognized as members of the Museum’s Legacy Society and are invited to free tours and special events throughout the year.

Suggested bequest language is included below. The Rock County Historical Society recommends that you consult your attorney, accountants, and other advisors in making a bequest.
I give, devise and bequeath to the Rock County Historical Society, a non-profit educational and charitable organization whose mailing address is 426 North Jackson Street- Janesville, Wisconsin, xxx percent of my estate (or, the sum of $xxx; or , xxx percent of the residue of my estate) to support the Society’s endowment (or indicate a specific program or operating activity).
