The Janesville Carriage Works and H. Buchholz & Morris, manufacturers of the Bower City Buggy Top, were located at the corner of East Milwaukee and North Bluff Streets (now North Parker Drive). The Carriage Company building still anchors this corner.

To the east is the Rogers & Hutchinson House, Sign and Carriage Painters, J.H. Burns Carriage Manufacturer, and a livery stable.
