Second Annual Tallman Arts Festival Poster Contest!

JANESVILLE, WI— The Rock County Historical Society invites YOU to get involved in the 59th Annual Tallman Arts Festival by participating in our 2nd Annual Poster Contest. The winning poster will be used to promote the theme of the 2016 festival, Art@PLAY. Our entire year will be filled with all kinds of playful events, starting with the opening of our new exhibit Toys@Play on Friday 1 April.

Poster submissions will be promoted and displayed leading up to and on the day of the Tallman Arts Festival on Sunday, 7 August 2016. Entries are accepted between 28 March until 24 June 2016 and the contest is open to anyone who wishes to share their artistic creativity to promote this year’s festival theme of play. The winning poster will serve as the official 2016 Tallman Arts Festival Commemorative Poster, which will be sold and promoted during the festival.

The winning poster will be the official 2016 Tallman Arts Festival poster and featured on the cover of the 2016 Summer issue of the Finial, the RCHS’s quarterly newsletter. The winning artist will have his/her name posted on the RCHS website and will be included on all print material and in any RCHS press releases in association with the Tallman Arts Festival.  The Grand Prize is $250 in cash.
