Rock County Historical Society Seeks Volunteers For Campus Crew

The Rock County Historical Society is seeking volunteers for its newly founded Campus Crew. The Campus Crew will be helping our Campus Caretaker, Dave Thompson, with various projects regarding the upkeep of the Society’s grounds and historical buildings. Projects include landscaping, painting, restoration, event prep on campus, gardening, and general maintenance, among others. The Crew meets every other Thursday from 8:00am to 12:00pm, with the next meeting on February 23rd. Volunteers will enjoy complimentary coffee and light breakfast treats from 8:00am to 8:30am at the Helen Jeffris Wood Museum Center while discussing upcoming projects and chatting with other volunteers.

Those interested in joining the Campus Crew should contact Volunteer and Intern Program Manager Amanda Strobel Wise at [email protected].
