Where Past Meets Present

Toys for Tots

Rock County Historical Society to Host Toys for Tots Collection Bin

This holiday season, the Rock County Historical Society is teaming up with the Salvation Army to support Toys for Tots. A collection bin will be located in the Helen Jeffris Wood Museum Center on the Society’s campus during November and December. Members of the community are encouraged to be a part of this collaboration and donate toys and gifts to the collection.

The Toys for Tots collection will complement the Society’s Toys@PLAY exhibit, located in the lower gallery of the Helen Jeffris Wood Museum Center, and coincide with A Tallman Christmas, the Society’s holiday programming that includes themed tours, business parties, and Christmas with the Tallmans.

To kick off this collaboration, RCHS will host a media event on Thursday, November 10th at 10:00 AM in the Helen Jeffris Wood Museum Center (426 N Jackson St, Janesville). Members of the press are invited to attend this short event.

For more information, call Nate Fuller at 608-756-4509 ext. 304.
