Speaker: Daniel Cravens Taylor, author of Not a Technical Christian, Abraham Lincoln’s Religion
There continues to be disagreement regarding Lincoln’s religious nature or his lack thereof. He has been painted as a closet atheist freethinker and as a closet Christian.
In his book Not a Technical Christian, Abraham Lincoln’s Religion, Daniel Cravens Taylor examined the theories about Lincoln’s religious beliefs and weighed them against what Lincoln said and did. Hear Taylor first-hand at this fascinating program hosted by the Lincoln Fellowship; Taylor will speak following a brief Lincoln Fellowship business meeting.
Taylor is the author of many historical books, including his most recent, titled Thomas Lincoln, Abraham’s Father.
